Dancing Fox Cabin Bellevue $
Welcome to Dancing Fox cabin! It’s comfortable and casual rustic charm awaits you for nightly and extended stays. With its rural setting, shed roof style outline, barn wood clad exterior, interior walls sheathed in white-washed boards, wide-plank chestnut flooring, primitive hand-made kitchen cabinetry and barn beam framing….you will be enveloped by the subtle feelings of our pioneers, a sense of soothing well-being and one of a simpler more calming lifestyle with modern amenities.
Dancing Fox Cabin is your opportunity to experience what no other lodging in Ohio has to offer! Imagine as you follow the pathway to your front porch, stepping across the threshold of your original barn door entry and then begin feasting your eyes, spirit and senses upon … another time and another place. Our settler-style cabin will, by itself, become an unforgettable highlight of your visit to our area.
Our initial goal was to utilize as many reclaimed, vintage and antique materials in the construction of this self-built structure. We estimate that approximately 95% of its total materials were salvaged and repurposed from various sources in Ohio! The artful blending of all these various components into a harmonious finished product is one that is memorable, soothing, and yet to many, exciting. As unique as the cabins exterior may be, the cabin’s interior is where your visual senses will be fully captivated. Wherever your eyes and hands rove, you will discover subtly aged textures, hand created items and coordinated color palettes, enhancing the wonderful feelings of rustic relaxation. These time-worn nuances now shed their light from by-gone days and are now captured by our cabin’s cozy environment.
This “off the beaten path” farmland environment removes you from both the traffic and people congestion normally associated with other vacation rentals. Our centralized location is also very convenient to the multitudes of attractions, events and activities found throughout the entire northern Ohio region. Lake Erie’s south shore features, Cedar Point Amusement Park, fishing, boating, ferries for island hopping, fabulous and fun shopping, extensive dining choices, golf, award winning wineries and festivals are quick driving distances. Major highways such as the Ohio Turnpike 80/90 and U.S. State Rt. 20 put Cleveland and Toledo within an hour and the largest Amish community in the U.S. is only 1.5 hours south of us. Groceries, fuel, banking, shopping and dining are mere minutes from your doorstep. “Memories Are Made At Dancing Fox Cabin”
