KING DAIRY FARM

KING DAIRY FARM
AUTOMATED MILKING FACILITY TOURS

Have you ever had a glass of milk or a bowl of ice cream and wondered where the milk came from?  Perhaps you envisioned a milking maid, sitting on a stool milking a cow into a bucket by hand.  Well, dairy farming has come a long way in the 21st century and technology has taken over King Dairy Farm, located in Fremont, Ohio

Tim King and his son have taken the work of many men and completely automated the care taking and milk collection of their dairy farm. From feeding to milking, robots have taken over to change the way dairy farming has been done for generations.

Contact the Sandusky County Visitors Bureau to setup your group agritourism and be amazed at just how high-tech today’s farmer has become!

Groups of 20 or more people are required for booking tours of this location.

NOT OPEN TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC AND MUST BE ARRANGED IN ADVANCE

At King Dairy Farm, watch in amazement as dairy cows walk into the milking stations to be identified, cleaned, attached to a milking machine and milked all without human interaction.  These cows even have their own climate controlled waterbeds!
