Tami & Gary Share their Passion for Apiculture

For our “Meet the Beekeepers” experience, we take you to Bellevue, Ohio to Cherry City Honey Farms where Tami & Gary Wylie, owners and beekeepers, will tell you all about bees and how these amazing little creatures produce honey. (NO LIVE BEES)   There will be samplings of their specialty flavored honeys as well as  a make and take beeswax candle project!

Cherry City Honey Farm

Cherry City Honey Farms and Apiary is a supplier of local honey to Northwest Ohio and throughout the United States via their online store. Their company name originates from the numerous cherry trees and a large commercial cherry farm that was historically located along their road.

​

This is one awesome stop and the on-site gift shop has tons of food, beauty and home decor products that  are made from their local honey and materials!

Tami & Gary Wylie are both professional beekeepers and have taken their small hobby to a full time family business with over 90 tended hives and an online store as well as a brick and mortar store location.  They love sharing their passion with groups in the large conference and training room located at their Bellevue location.

While no live bees will be around guests during this experience,  there will be plenty of hands on visuals including honey combs, hive boxes and more.  Let Tami and Gary tell you the story about nature and the bees!
