The Wilson Nature Center is a family-focused facility that is integrated into the landscape and invites visitors of all ages to connect with the natural world. “mudroom” to the Muddy Creek corridor. The facility is handicap accessible and is equipped with an elevator and modern restrooms.The 310 acre farm property, located just outside of Lindsey, Ohio is still a working farm and is known for its beautiful hiking trails, & fantastic fly fishing on "Muddy Creek" that snakes along the wooded side of the estate. This area is also one of the areas best birding locations each spring and fall as the tropical and native birds migrate to and from breeding grounds in Canada. This depression era farm is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and was the home of Bob and Fran Roush. November 2014 marked the opening of the Wilson Nature Center. The facility includes a Window on Wildlife/Library, Educational Classroom, Children's Activity Area and a small meeting room.
The barn area, adjacent to the nature center has been completely updated with tables, modern electricity and serves now as a banquet meeting/rental area with the rustic barn atmosphere.
