Brubaker's Acres

A wonderful farm market and greenhouse full of seasonal items.  Located East of Bettsville on State Route 12, 1 mile from State Route 53. Open everyday from 10 am to 6 pm. May through October. Spring brings us a HUGE selection of perennials, every odd variety, we have more than a few thousand pots to pick from. We also carry heirloom plants. Over 40 varieties of tomato plants. Flowering shrubs. Seeds, potato and onion starts, the works. We've got a great selection of annuals, and all the premium varieties too. If there is something new for the greenhouse, we will find it, so you can plant it in your garden, because we want to plant it too.
In late May we will have fresh STRAWBERRIES, ASPARAGUS and RHUBARB. In July the juicy Indiana MELONS are followed by homegrown ones. This is when the CANDY ONIONS are on too. And our fresh picked SWEETCORN, not just the great bicolor varieties, we also pick some yummy yellow kinds, as well as delicious white types too. Fresh picked PEACHES and APPLES, need we say more. TOMATOES are on next, followed by bushels of green PEPPERS, and the hot ones too. Then in September we start with SQUASH, 20 different kinds, from 2 lbs. to 40 lbs. We grow PUMPKINS, by the tons, in every color, shape, and size there is. Blues, whites, reds, stripes, warts, flat ones, tans, and orange too. If we can find something new and different, we try to plant a few. We also get in large bags of POTATOES and ONIONS so you can stock up for the winter. And some where along the way we have CUCUMBERS, BEETS, GARLIC, NEW POTATOES, PLUMS, PEARS, CABBAGE, and so much more.
We accept Senior Vouchers and WIC vouchers. Open May thru October.
