Second Saturdays R 4 Kids - Learn to make ice cream   

FREMONT – Kids can learn to make ice cream during Second Saturdays R 4 Kids on Saturday, Jan. 13, at the Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Library & Museums.

The event is from noon to 1 p.m. in the museum/library building.

Admission is $1 for kids. There is no charge for adults to bring kids to this event. Kids and grandkids of Hayes Presidential Library & Museums members at the family level and higher get in for free.

During this event, kids will see the special exhibit “‘Ice for Everybody:’ Lake Erie and America’s Ice Harvesting Industry” and learn how the ice industry allowed people to keep foods like ice cream in their homes. Then kids will make ice cream.
