Every Easter the Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Library & Museums hosts an Easter egg roll. This is usually held on the front lawn when the weather cooperates. This year, (due to the forecasted rain) alternative activities were held inside the museum.
Our family was fortunate to get there early and enjoy some conversation with the wonderful staff of volunteers. We even met one of the Spiegel Grove Squires (vintage baseball)!
Activities included; visiting the Easter Bunny, President game, face painting, bean bag toss, and more. Younger attendees received balloons upon entry and candy prizes for games. Families also received coupons for free admission to the Home or Museum as well as a coupon for Welly's Horseradish and Root's Poultry.
The event was free for the public. Sponsors included Roots Poultry and Welly's Horseradish.
