Beeker's General Store, one of Ohio's oldest general stores, is nestled in quaint Pemberville, on the banks of the Portage River. Taking a step through the double doors at Beeker's is like taking a step back in time. This 19th century general store is stocked with merchandise reminiscent of days gone by, featuring Amish goodies, quilting fabrics, nostalgic gifts, keepsake cards and a candy counter highlighting old fashioned penny candy. Beeker's 130 - year history is evident as the store features many of its original fixtures including its squeaky floor and ornate tin ceiling.
