Sculpture in the Village
Visit Williams Park in the Village of Gibsonburg and take a walk among 31 sculptures situated along a meandering lake-side path. Admission is FREE but the experience is PRICELESS!
The sculptures will be on exhibit for an entire year. Prominent sculptors from Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania will have their works on display at Williams Park until May 31, 2008.
The exhibit includes the work of both emerging and well established artists. Marian Anderson from South Haven, Michigan, is considered the Grand Dame of Michigan sculptors. Marian is 84 years old.
Marie Brown is a senior at Bowling Green State University and from Napoleon, Ohio. Marie brings energy, creativity and technical mastery to her sculptures “Iron Pride” and “Hasnaa”.
Between the extremes of age and perspective are some of mid-American’s finest sculptors. Take advantage of this unique opportunity to see their works on display in Northwest Ohio’s largest outdoor sculpture show.
The exhibit is co-sponsored by the Gibsonburg Community Corporation and the Toledo Area Sculpture Guild.
