Sandusky County is the home of Rutherford B Hayes, the 19th President of the United States.  Original White House gates lead the way to the nation’s FIRST Presidential Center.

Fishermen from all over the United States converge in the Sandusky River during the Spring Runs of Walleye and White Bass.  Whether fishing from bank or boat, from March through May, catches are plentiful!

The Fremont Speedway plays host to racing every Saturday night from April to September. 410 and 305 sprint cars and trucks battle wheel-to-wheel, sliding around the 1/3 mile semi-banked clay oval.
