Welcome to Sandusky County Visitors Bureau

Welcome to Sandusky County Visitors Bureau
Welcome to the NEW Sandusky County Visitors Bureau’s website.  We hope you like the site and all the new features we’ve added.  Along with the new website we have a new logo.

A special thank you goes out to the Terra State Community College Digital Arts and Media Design Department, and to the two students that created our new logo.  Ed Burkholder and Jonathan McDonald participated in a contest we held with the department. We chose both of their logo designs, and took parts from each one to create our new logo.  Thank you to Gil Gonzalez who is a teacher at the college for allowing his students to participate in this opportunity.

We are also excited to announce that our 2013 Visitors Guide is now in and out in circulation.  If you would like a guide you can pick one up at the Visitors Bureau, 712 North St., or have one sent to you by mail.

Please take the time to go through our new website and let us know what you think. Visit our Calendar of Events so you can see and participate in the activities that are going on in Sandusky County.  There’s something for all ages!  It’s a pleasure for all of us here at the Visitors Bureau to service the people of Sandusky County and all the visitors who pass through each day!

Fishing Forcast

Week of May 13th:

The river level is normal to low, with the water clarity being good.  The bite for the white bass has slowed down because of the colder weather over the past couple of days. However, it will fire back up with the warmer weather over the next couple of weeks.  There is also crappy and catfish being caught in the river.  The best area to fish is between the two bridges and down by State Street.  To get a daily fishing forecast you can visit or call Anglers Supply, 319 Howland St., Fremont, OH, 419-332-6071.
