It is almost here: the Battle of Fort Stephenson Celebration! August 2 & 3, downtown Fremont will come alive with a period encampment, tomahawk throwing demonstrations, Native American War Drums, Battle reenactments, Cricket games that invite the public to join the fun and more. Saturday morning will feature a Narrated Historic Bike Ride and lots of live entertainment. Lantern Tours will be held Saturday evening and Sunday will feature a birthday celebration for the Star Spangled Banner, turning 200 years old! This is a family friendly and free event. There is plenty to do and see!
If you were unable to purchase a ticket for the Whittaker Reserve Bus tour, you have a chance to see the historic property this year; but don’t wait, there are only 200 seats available!
See you there!
